ILHA DO MEL COLLECTION

The inspiration for this collection came from a trip to Ilha do Mel, on the coast of Paraná, south Brazil.
Circular pieces represent the non-orthogonality of nature.
Seat's colors refer to the beaches: yellow represents sand, blue represents the sea and white represents ocean foam.
You can see many chapels and small churches when walking around the island, as a result of the religiosity inherent to its population.
In the project, the representation of this religiosity took place in the design of the structure, inspired by "Ponta da Nhá Pina" cross, located at the top of this rock formation. Close to "Morro do Sabão".
As focal point of this project, we inserted in industrial embroidery the figure of "Tiê Sangue", a bird symbol of Atlantic Forest, easily found in the vegetation that permeates the inns.
